Eric died peacefully at home after a short illness on 27^th August 2023 aged 87.

During his illness he received excellent care from the surgeons, doctors, nurses and care staff at Salisbury District Hospital, only 10 minutes from his home in Homington, and benefitted from the facilities and some of the sophisticated equipment, in particular CT and MRI scanners, funded by the Stars Appeal.
