In memory of our loving husband and dear father, Salim Seedat:

Words cannot express our grief and sorrow at the passing of our most wonderful husband and father.... to say we are heartbroken does not do it justice. 

Salim and I met back in Woolworths in 1993 and we married in May 1998. We had our beautiful daughter, Amber, in June 1999 - Salim could not have been more proud of her - she was his ultimate pride and joy.

Salim/Dad was beloved by all - a funny and caring friend, always there for anyone who needed him. A man known by many names - Roons, Skins... he was the life and soul of the party - the ultimate diva on the dance floor!

A caring and supportive son, looking after both his mother and father until their passing in 2019. A good and true brother to Youssouf, Faizal and Omar and of course, his sister Mimi who tragically passed at a young age.

But more than anything, he was an amazing husband and father - our rock, our heart and our soul.

Salim/Dad - You will leave a hole in our hearts that can never be filled but we know that you will always be with us and watching over us all.

About the charity we are fundraising for in memory of Salim/Dad:

His passing has been brutally quick - a tragic consequence of Covid 19. He was nursed in Intensive Care in Queens Hospital, Romford by amazing staff who are battling daily with this horrific virus during a relentless pandemic that is overwhelming NHS staff. It is because of this we have chosen to raise money in Salim/Dad's memory for the Intensive Care Society, specifically for their #WeAreCritical in the fight against COVID-19 appeal.
