Saliheen Scouts Venue Emergency Fundraiser, 26 February 2022
Strong winds caused devastating damage to a significant portion of the Masjid roof during storm Franklin, with additional damage to the interior as it continued to rain. Further surveys have revealed the entire roof needs to be replaced urgently.

Story

Over 50 Saliheen Scouts children, Beavers and Cubs are heartbroken and upset to hear about their venue, which they have been using since 2019 sustaining significant damage. Currently face to face sessions have had to be suspended as their venue is unsafe to use.

The children are fundraising for the urgent roof repair of the Masjid's roof which sustained devastating damage as strong gusts of wind blew off a significant portion of the roof in the early hours of Monday 21st February. The continued rainfall on the already damaged roof has also caused additional damage to the internal structures.
