Our team is made up of seven mates who all work at Sale Sharks Rugby Club and together we’re taking on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on May 14, this year.

We know this is going to be a huge challenge and we’re going to have to put the work in to make sure our ageing legs can get round a really difficult course with plenty of gradient. But we also know that we’ll be spurred on and motivated by the amazing cause we’ve chosen to run for.

As a team we feel passionately about supporting a local cause and trying to make a difference in our home city of Manchester, so we’ve decided to raise money for the amazing Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, which looks after around 280,000 children every year.

Those children and their families are often going through some unimaginably difficult challenges but with YOUR help we can really make a difference.

We’re really proud that the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is not only the largest children’s hospital in the country, but one of the very best.
