Salcombe Lifeboat Bounce Back Walk, 25 October 2020

Our RNLI lifeboats in the South West protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

We are looking for at least 20 Team Leaders to organise a maximum of 4 walkers for their team.

There are 6 stages, averaging 3 - 4 miles, and each Team will decide how many stages they want to walk, and more importantly, how much sponsorship they want to raise for the Salcombe Lifeboats.

Throughout the Pandemic the RNLI has continued to provide a Lifesaving Service around the coasts of the UK & ROI, but due to restrictions, our normal fundraising has been significantly affected and we are currently looking at a £43 million shortfall.

Please help us to "Bounce Back" and get back on track.

To celebrate the days achievements, there will be a socially distanced Pizza, Pint and Burgers at the Fortescue Inn in Salcombe from 16:00 until 19:00.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
