It has always been a dream of mine to see Everest.

I only wish I had realised this when I was younger and fitter!

So, here I am, joining three friends in the ascent of a lifetime.

I have been a dentist at St Paul’s for 36 years and this year the Practice celebrates its 100th year, making it probably the oldest Dental Practice in Southport. Another good reason why my Base Camp trek is well timed this year.

Having seen so many people and patients during my time at Saint Pauls, I cannot imagine any person who has not, in some way, whether through friends, family or colleagues, been touched by the professionalism, kindness and care provided by Queenscourt Hospice. This is a truly inspirational and very special place.
