Story
If you're thinking I've changed and this will be easy and that I'm not lazy anymore, then let me put your doubts to rest. Firstly, I'm not even the one writing this. When I (reluctantly) agreed to do this half marathon, I got on the phone to a friend who I hadn't spoken to in quite some time and promised him a meal which we both know isn't happening, and basically had to beg him to make this page for me. He'll give me the login details to change this text but again, that's not happening, so we're stuck with this little preamble.
In all seriousness, if you're on the page that's probably because you know me. And if you know me, then you know I'm not the type to do these random charity things on a regular basis. Chances are I won't do another sponsored thing for a long long time. So basically whatever you give, make it big please so I don't have to run again. Let's help all the people we might help with future half marathons this time around. Double the donation and we can all walk away winners. They told me to set an initial target of like £1500 but I've gone straight for a £5000 target. I know there are enough generous people in my network that can make that happen. Thanks.
For every £31 donation, it will allow us to complete an entire eye cataract surgery in Pakistan, helping to restore the sight of those most in need. Your support makes a difference and gives a future to these people and their families. Please donate today and help me reach my target.
