As a group of zookeepers we want to support our friend and colleague James Welch’s charity Safina Lion Conservation Fund. 

Safina support in-situ lion conservation, working with local communities in the Masai Mara to minimise population decline and human-animal conflict. Safina also works to educate the UK public on the plight of wild lion populations through events held at zoo’s across the country. 

We have decided to participate in the 3 peaks challenge as we just can’t get enough of being outside with nature! The 24 hour challenge will push the team physically and mentally all in the name of a good cause, especially as it is a small charity so one that we can see the direct impact of our efforts.
