80 meter Abseil - 28th April - Stratford Olympic Park

Dare for Dreams · 28 April 2018 ·
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :)
My 6 year old son Kylan has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Kylan is a very loving, lively and affectionate little person. He sees and hears things very differently to you and me. Sometimes he can get very anxious and upset at things you or I wouldn't notice. A trip to the supermarket can be very scary for him, with crowds/queues and lots of noise. Other times he sees the wonder and magic in things that aren't obvious to us, and it's a joy to discover these things with him.
Beams provide invaluable support for families like us. Varying from helping you to understand assessment form filling, dealing with emotional issues (not just from the kids :)) Interpreting complex jargon on doctors letters. Advising and supporting at school/review meetings and just being there for a cup of tea and a chat. They are also an all round amazing team, most of whom do all this very professionally and for free!
I'll be abseiling off the ArcelorMittal Orbit @ Queen Elizabeth Park between 2 - 2.30pm. If you fancy watching me make a fool of myself for a very good cause, please pop by the Olympic Park, and give me a wave for good luck!
Any donation ( even the price of a coffee) will be a great help and donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
Thank you :)
