Yeyyyyy ... nearly 10 years and counting 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

10 years ago this summer I was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer; and so started the dark and difficult days going through many consultations, weeks of chemo and radio, multiple scans and tests, and months later eventually a major op to cut the cancer out and throw it in the bin, hopefully for good 😊

None of this would have been possible without the equipment, the clinical expertise and the extraordinary passion and commitment of each and everyone at The Christie, plus the incredible amount of research carried out there.

So, I find it easy to say "I owe my life to The Christie", and will do what I can to help this wonderful organisation, so the next patient who is diagnosed with cancer and fortunate enough to be referred to The Christie can receive the same high level service that I enjoyed.
