Fundraising for Diabetes UK
Story
I'm not a runner. Not once have a gone for a run. In fact I just bought my first pair of running trainers only 2 weeks ago.
This is my very first attempt at fundraising, and it is for an extremely special cause.
My close friend Blanche lost her younger brother Bleddyn last year at the young age of 25 through diabetes related complications.
Blanche has been an absolute rock and a hero for her family throughout these tough times and we are all extremely proud of her.
Therefore I am one of nearly 40 family members and close friends that are running the half marathon in memory of Bleddyn and to raise money for Diabetes UK.
