Story
I have decided to take on a challenge to raise money for a charity close to my partners heart, the Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity (formally the Above & Beyond Charity).
My partner has a genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive disease that affects a multitude of organs, it causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe properly over time. Seeing what Jago has already, and continues to achieve whilst living with this disease is nothing short of incredible and immensely inspiring… so, starting on the 30th October, I will set out to summit 65 peaks in support of those with Cystic Fibrosis (aka 65 roses).
I haven’t set a time scale for this challenge, but I aim to start strong as I venture to the North for 2 weeks to tackle Scotland’s peaks - I will be posting photos of every peak I summit so watch this space!
The reason I have chosen the Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity is because it supports 10 hospitals around the Bristol area, including the Bristol Royal Infirmary where Jago and 2 of his siblings are patients.
