Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year, I am taking part in Nightrider, a unique 100km moonlit ride past London's iconic landmarks all in the name of charity!
I am doing this race in memory of my beautiful mum, who passed away after a battle with Cancer. The work that Marie Curie do, helps to provide restbite and comfort for those suffering with cancer and their loved ones.
Marie Curie nurses give free hands-on care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes, and vital emotional support to their loved ones. We allow families to make the most of the precious time they have left together. But the sad fact is, every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care they need at the end of their life. That’s why we urgently need to reach more people – and why we’re counting on your support.
£180 pays for a Marie Curie nurse to look after a person with terminal illness for a full 9-hour shift in the comfort of their own home, so your fundraising really will make a difference to the support we can offer.
