So, I did it again, I registered and will be particpating in the BUPA Great Manchester Run 2014 on May 18th. Ideally, I'd love to get a sub 60 but if I can beat a PB of 1:10, that would be great...but it's not just about achieving a new PB;

Last year, in haste, I did say that whilst I would defintely take part in the Great Manchester 10K again, I wouldn't be fundraising. I said this because I was so overwhelmed by people's generosity especially during the economic climate and didn't want to take advantage of people's generosity. However, I've had a change of heart and would like to take my comment back! This money IS going to charity and who am I to stop you lovely people from donating to a charity that means a lot to me. After all, the money is NOT going to the Sabrina Malone Shoe Fund! Joking aside, over the last 12 months, I've seen friends/family's lives affected by this dreadful disease. Why Cancer Research? There are so many worthwhile charities to choose from but I would like the money to go towards more research into better techniques for detection, diagnosis and treatment. Let's help drive cancer mortality rates down, let's beat cancer!
