Story
I HAVE SIGNED UP TO THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE OF MY LIFE AND
TAKING ON the tallest mountain in the world Mount Everest at base camp.
I am doing this in order to help the emergency crisis
response teams who are helping people who are facing crisis, war and
displacement, which includes the Ukraine war and the most recent flood disaster in Pakistan.
My main motivations come from dealing with my own diagnosis of PTSD and so I want to put my energy in helping anyone suffering the aftermath of a crisis.
I strive to improve my mental health and anyone who has gone through a mental health crisis. A loved one in 2021 attempted a life-threatening attack on themselves, where I had to act in emergency to save their life. I am not a doctor, but this traumatic experience made me realize the smallest acts of charity that can aid someone's mental health is one step to saving them.
I want to take on the toughest challenge of my lifetime to improve my physical and mental health and push boundaries where I believe that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
I have funded my own journey to Nepal, Mount Everest, so
every penny donated will go to Penny Appeal's Emergency Response team. There is currently an emergency crisis in Ukraine where the response team are on the ground running, delivering efficient and life-saving aid and have previously been in Afghanistan and Palestine.
War, famine, disease, poverty & climate change have immobilized communities in Myanmar, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, Indonesia, and East
Africa. Penny Appeal needs your support to be able to deploy life-saving medical aid, food, clothing, sanitation, and shelter to those who've been left incredibly vulnerable. It would mean a lot to have your support, so please follow my journey and donate as much or as little as you can.
Thank you so much, I appreciate you just reading this message!
