Story

We are taking part in Walk of Light 2021 on 27th March, in support of Blood Cancer UK. People affected by blood cancer faced an unimaginably difficult year last year and we will be taking part in Walk of Light to support everyone affected by blood cancer and to light the way to a brighter future. We are walking from our home in Portishead, to Hollie’s beloved Ashton Gate, home of Bristol City FC to help raise awareness of Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Hollie, our beautiful little girl, was diagnosed in November 2020 with Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. This diagnosis completely turned our world upside down with Hollie starting a course of chemotherapy before Christmas. Hollie was displaying very few symptoms of Lymphoma and only discovered it after an incredible spot by her chiropractor. We would urge anyone with any lumps or changes in your body that aren’t normal for you to please go to your GP. The NHS have been amazing even during these testing times.

Hollie is fighting this dreadful disease with more determination and strength than we knew she had and we are proud beyond words.
