Story

Running the London Marathon 2021 - Raising funds for the RJAH Hospital Charity.

It's been my intention for a while to do something special in memory of my extraordinary late father. Growing up as a farmer’s son in India, he had to run 5 miles to his high school everyday, so that he can further his education and be home in time to attend routine chores. He eventually graduated as a Doctor, achieving many firsts along the way.

My attempt at running the marathon in relativity is a small attempt at paying a tribute to him and also to raise funds for the hospital which has given me chance to run the London Marathon.

I have never ran past 15k and not  since my medical school days. I was inspired recently to consider this task,  I sincerely hope my body will hold up to it and I certainly will give it a go.

Many thanks for the donations.
