Lockdown doesn't mean you can't keep on donating. This virtual collection is a great way to give to our vital cause and offer hope to the tens of thousands of people still living with a brain tumour. Let's keep research working!

Story

Rydal Penrhos is holding an event to support ‘Brain Tumour Research Day’. This is held nationally on the 26th March. However we will be holding our school event on the final day of term, Thursday 25th March.

Prep and Pre-School pupils will come to school dressed as an NHS worker. Senior pupils will wear a hat in all of their lessons, whether online or on-site.

We have chosen to support Brain Tumour Research in memory of Tim Harding, the much beloved husband of our Senior School Head, Mrs Sally Harding. Tim battled a brain tumour for many years. Brain tumours are indiscriminate and can affect anyone at any age.

Please donate what you can to ensure that vital research work is able to continue.

Thank you for your support

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
