We help people with mental health problems to have a better life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I started running this year after a family member suggested it helped them with their own mental health. They didn't know it but at the time but I was really struggling with my own mental health. She gave me a book, she challenged me to complete my first Park Run (with no training) and then coerced me into a local 10k a few weeks later...anyone who knows me, knows I am more of a couch potato than couch to 10k, even my mum laughed at me.

Mental Health UK are important to me, as I have recently struggled with my own mental health. I used to be ashamed to admit it because as a man, I thought I needed to be the 'strong' one in my family BUT I now know it is stronger to admit there is something wrong or tell someone you are struggling. So I aiming to give something back to a charity that is helping the UK normalise mental health and hopefully, if you need help, they can support you too.

Thank you for reading and donating.
