Story
I have chosen Mind UK as they are working tirelessly to make sure nobody has to face a mental health problem alone. People need support more than ever, and demand for their services is rapidly growing. Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week.

I have also battled Mental Health Disorders my entire life, I have Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) which for some can be a lifelong condition. Experiencing symptoms in childhood which you may find continue into your teenage years and as an adult.
We know that if you have ADHD you’re more likely to experience a mental health problem. There’s evidence that anxiety, depression, conduct disorder (persistent patterns of antisocial, aggressive or defiant behavior), substance abuse, and sleep problems are all more common with people who have ADHD. ADHD has been both my best friend and worst enemy in life and I hate to think not everybody has the personality, support network or confidence to handle it which is why I have dedicated my entire life to helping others with it.
The aim is to raise as much money and awareness as we can for Mind UK ahead of the challenge but also to inspire others to talk, speak out and communicate about how they are genuinely feeling and if they are struggling to get help.
Please dig deep and support me on this epic challenge!
Thank you
