I am going to be running the Virgin London Marathon 2011 for Age UK. I feel hugely privileged to be running for such a great and important charity in the UK. They do so much to help the older generation in every single way and enable them to undertake in activities which, on their own, they would never have the opportunity to do. 

I realise that the London Marathon will in no way be easy but I am extremely excited (if slightly nervous) to be partaking in such huge and fantastic event.
