Last year, I lucked out and won the opportunity to visit the base of operations for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance from a raffle. Admittedly, I mainly just wanted to see the helicopter, but in the end I was amazed to hear/see the good work that the people there do. 

The staff were extremely professional and passionate about what they were doing. Despite the very serious nature of their occupation, they were very welcoming and jovial and I just found myself admiring them and their work. So when this opportunity arose to join a charity skydive for them, I didn't hesitate.
