We inform, educate, inspire, and engage to help young people with epilepsy.

Story

On the 4th September members of the London Fire Brigade, Fire Engineering Group, both past and present, will be taking part in a 5K Colour Run. We will be running, skipping, and dancing in memory of Colin Ryan who was the brother of former group member Matt (and son of Bob, a retired LFB colleague).

We are raising money for the Ryan family's chosen charity which is Young Epilepsy (http://www.youngepilepsy.org.uk/). Colin himself was an epileptic and this fantastic charity provides support and aid to the 120,000 people aged 25 and under with epilepsy and associated conditions.

As we approach the 1st anniversary of his sad and untimely passing at such a young age, we want to support Matt and his family by remembering and celebrating Colin in the best way we can. So please dig deep and support us in what will be the equivalent of a marathon to some members of the team.

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.
