72 holes. Four Rounds. 24 Hours. One amazing cause. 3 July 2020. Peterculter and Banchory Golf Club

Some of you may be aware that tragically we lost our good friend Scott Emslie in 2016.
Scott was born with a condition called Aortic stenosis, a narrowing of his Aortic heart valve.
He did however lead a very full, healthy and normal life becoming an assistant Golf Professional. During his short life he underwent various surgeries which were greatly assisted by advances in medicine and on-going research funded by the British Heart Foundation.
Sadly Scott was taken from us far too early at the age of only 28.
The British Heart Foundation are the biggest funder of cardiovascular research in the UK and provide vital assistance to scientists undertaking pioneering research into many aspects of various heart conditions, their diagnosis and ever expanding treatments.
As a continued effort to raise funds and support the British Heart Foundation, I will be playing 72 holes, Four Rounds, 24 Hours for this amazing cause.
