Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of my close friends and family know, my Nana meant the absolute world to me. She was always very quick witted, played practical jokes, was a fantastic cook, mom and Nana - the list goes on. If you were fortunate to have met her or hear some of the stories about her - you know how special of a woman Dolores Johnson was and the impact she left on many peoples lives. Nana was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in her 20's and lived the majority of her life with this disease, but she never let that stop her from doing anything and everything she set her mind to. I have been wanting to honour her in some way since her passing in January 2020, and I could not think of a better way than to run my first half marathon for JDRF on behalf of my Nana and many others who also have diabetes. If you would be so kind as to help donating towards my overall goal, that support would mean so much to me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
