Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon 2019 · 5 May 2019 ·

With over 20,000 runners taking on the course that gives you a tour of the city. Runners and walkers of all speeds are welcomed by an amazingly enthusiastic crowd on route, to a triumphant finish in Ormeau Park.

Story

The money raised will be used to fund the already amazing research going on at Alzheimer's Society UK in memory of my Mum who suffered with Alzheimer's for almost 10 years.

For those who know me, you will know I absolutely HATE running but if you throw a few quid my way it really will make it all worth it! 🙂

I genuinely have never ran more than 5km before and it crippled me for the rest of that week 😂 So to run 41km/26m seems so far away I can't even tell you! I really am a beginner and I've 6 months from writing this to become fit enough to Run the Belfast Marathon.

Every 💷 really does count so chip in if you can x

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
