Amputee World Record Squat for Women’s Aid, 17 March 2022

Story

Hello everyone,

As the page says, I’m going to be attempting the World Record Squat for an Amputee by the end of the year latest. To do this I’ll have to beat a squat of 197.5kg.

Having once been in a house with domestic abuse and having had my family once rely on Women’s Aid is what, I believe, makes it the perfect charity for me to give back to!

I will be posting the journey the whole way on my personal training Instagram (@adaptedryan) and will post the lift for which I will collect the donations on Facebook and Instagram.

I will be collecting donations on a gym lift with calibrated plates (so an unofficial world record); however will do a powerlifting meet soon after the lift to make it official.

Thank you everyone for your generosity, please do not put yourself out of pocket unless you have the means to do so! This link will be up for a little while after the lift too so no rush!

Take care everyone!
