As many of you may know I am travelling to Australia during the Easter Holidays to visit my cousin and his family, whilst out in Melbourne I am taking part in a 10,000 ft Tandem Skydive over the amazing Yarra Valley on Thursday 5th April 2012!

When I was a baby Great Ormond Street Hospital treated me and diagnosed me with a condition known as Nystagmus which has unfortunately left me unable to drive, but without the help of Great Ormand Street Hospital I wouldn't be where I am today with my vision. However the story for me dosen't end there... my eight month old nephew Jack-James was born with a strawberry birth mark on his bottom which sadly ulcerated and caused him to be in a great deal of pain for several months with him being unable to sit on his bottom. Thanks to the birthmark unit at GOSH they were able to guide his Mum and Dad through a treatment process of dressings, with regular communication and visits to the hospital. It was finally decided JJ would have his bottom lasered giving the birthmark the opportunity to heal over. Today JJ now sits up on his bottom so it obviously doesn't hurt as much anymore!! All of this would not have been possible without the help of Great Ormond Street! No matter how much you can donate I will be enormously grateful!
