Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
IJF help Jockeys who get injured on the racecourse or in workplaces on the road to recovery, and also help career ending injuries to jockeys and their families.
The IJF also works closely with racing authorities and other organisations on many initiatives. It part funds on course physios and medical services and also research into improved riding protection equipment for jockeys which has resulted in a number of improved manufacturing standards being implemented. The Fund also funds the Equichute based at The British Racing School which is used in fall training for students and current jockeys.
In 2009 it opened its first rehabilitation centre, Oaksey House, in Lambourn and is currently in the process of building a second centre Jack Berry House in Malton for northern based jockeys.
