Ryan Wilson's fight against Hodgkin Lymphoma

Ryan Wilson's fight against Hodgkin Lymphoma · 14 February 2021
My name is Ryan I'm 23 years old and I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on the 7th January. This is a blood cancer that starts in the lymphatic system.
I was going to wait until my treatment had finished until I raised some money, but I was recently admitted to ICU with sepsis/pneumonia and many other complications due to having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. This led to me being put in an induced coma for 8 days... I can't thank the staff at Furness General Hospital enough for all they did for me whilst I was in there for 2 weeks, they have been amazing!
I am currently undergoing chemotherapy at The Christies hospital in Manchester. So I would like to raise money for The Christies NHS foundation trust.
I want to help people that might be in my position and give something back.
Many people will be doing charity fundraisers over the next few months and donating the money to this page. Whether it be a sponsored head shave, run, walk etc or any donation whatever the amount will be much appreciated.
I hope you can help me raise money for this amazing charity because they have currently lost a quater of their usual income due to the covid pandemic. So hopefully we can help raise abit of money , thanks
