Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

For those of you that do not know, I am running on behalf of my best friend and his family. Sadly in 2012 Michele Venes passed away. But I know for sure that she left us peacefully thanks to the amazing staff at St. Barnabas House. The dedication and compassion shown by the staff was immense. Their proffesionalism was outstanding. They even made us breakfast!

For those of you that didn't know Michele, you definitely missed out on meeting a fantastic woman and a brilliant Mum. She treated all visitors as family, including myself, she was like a second Mum. She would make me beans on toast nearly every time I visited! She may be gone in person but I believe she is looking down on the Venes family ensuring that everything will be ok. 

Nick, Paris, Charlie and Amoure have all been inspiring. The amount of strength and love in that family is phenomenal. Their determination and willingness to carry on and be the best that they can be is just amazing. It's a privilege to be their next door neighbour.
