I have been thinking about a fund raising event for cancer / tumour research for the senior in years as well as the young. Cancer has been a battle for some of my family members and close friends. My Stepfather's charity was 'Clic Sargent', now known as 'Young Lives vs Cancer' and would like to continue his fundraising charities, continuing the ever necessary research, diagnosis and prognosis of this disease. Therefore a marathon at 50 years old is going to be a massive challenge and a feat that I'm just about training for 1 year prior to ensure the money is well earned!
