This year we are tackling the Cardiff 10k on Sunday 3rd September and the Cardiff Half Marathon just 4 weeks later on Sunday 1st October and we are looking to raise much needed funds for Young lives v Cancer who do a remarkable job. Through fundraising for Charity State of Mind we were lucky to meet an inspirational man, Chris Lowe who sadly lost his 3 year old son Freddie to Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare Cancer. Chris showed incredible courage and has fund raised for this charity and many others in Freddie's memory. We now want to do our part and help support this charity, but need your help! 

£9  could mean a parent could take their child to chemotherapy and not have to worry about the costs of petrol and parking. 

£26 could pay for an hour of a Social Workers time. Whether they organise grants for the family or are there to offer a listening ear, our wonderfully dedicated Social workers are there from the moment a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer. 

£38 could pay for a family to stay overnight in one of Young Lives vs Cancer’s Homes from Home, providing free self-catering accommodation near to specialist children’s cancer treatment centres, which are often many miles from a family’s own home.

Please help us in raising much needed funds for this wonderful charity so they can continue to support families with children who have been diagnosed with Cancer.
