Myself and around 20 close friends and family will be taking part in this years 100k Peak District Challenge in July 

This is in memory of my Father in law Cliff Smedley who  at the end of last year was taken from us so suddenly! This has left a huge void in our life and one that can never be replaced, Cliff was larger than life, one of the  lads and most of all a devoted Husband, Dad and Grandpa and Friend too so many.

Cliff had suffered with Parkinson’s for over 10 years and tried his best to carry on life the way he always had and that was to live it to its fullest! Anyone who met him would vouch for that! 

He never really let on just how much he was feeling the strain and the effects of the illness and side effects of Parkinson’s Psychosis, ! He was a very proud man and as always wanted to protect his family and not worry them! This meant he sadly wasn’t really getting the help he needed x 

In his legacy we want to be able to raise money and more importantly much needed awareness into this awful disease that has changed our lives forever! Hoping that we can help other families and there loved ones!
