Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to raise money for Dementia UK.

I believe that no family should ever face dementia alone, therefore, I am tackling this 2500 mile challenge to help give families specialist dementia support through their Admiral Nurse Service. The need for the specialist nurses has never been greater, so the more money #TeamDementiaUK raises, the more dementia nurses we will be able to fund and the more families will be helped. The woman who inspired me to start this challenge was my nan Margaret Whitman who sadly passed away November 2020 with dementia. She made me laugh every time she opened her mouth and I'm still struggling to come to the realisation that she isn't with us anymore. However, I hope this challenge will make her proud and in the end I will have raised as much money as possible to support other families who are going through what my family went through.
