This December I’ll be joining 6 of my fellow work colleagues in a stationary bike ride to raise funds for Maggie’s Centres.  As a group we’ll cycle 300+ miles in a virtual journey between 7 Maggie’s centres starting in Inverness and finishing in central Scotland.  The event will take place on Friday the 13th of December (lucky I hope!) at our office in the Saltire Centre, Glenrothes.

My employer (James Donaldson & Sons) are supporting Maggie’s through a number of events and any money we raise will be doubled making your donation go even further!

About Maggie's
Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.  Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer so the benefits of such services are easy to appreciate.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie’s Centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

The first Maggie’s Centre opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 20 Centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
