BEN - Motor And Allied Trades Benevolent Fund - Cadbury Ben4BEN 2009 · 8 September 2009 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Wednesday 9th September 2009 my team mates at work and I are planning to walk up Ben Nevis (11 miles and 1344 metres which will take around 9 hours) to raise money for BEN - The Motor And Allied Trades Benevolent Fund in the BEN 4 BEN Challenge 2009.
This will be a big challenge for me even though I think I’m quite fit. I'm hoping that the famous sunny weather in in September will help guild us to the top of (some how I think not)
I have already started my hardcore training for this challenge by getting a puppy and taking her for walks, but after about 15/20 minutes she has had enough and wants to be carried the rest of the way, so this training could be like the event its self with some of the team been tired after 15 minutes but I will not be offering to carry them.
I need to raise £600 which will all go to The Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund and if I can't raise it then I will be left at home.
