Story
I’ve kept the biggest and my toughest challenge EVER untill now - mainly because I’ve been scared of it and on top of that didn’t know where to start with it but her goes......starting Friday 24th April at 1pm I am going to attempt to run 100miles on a treadmill in my kitchen!! “Why?”I hear you ask ......well: the last few weeks have shown me how amazing our local community is and if I can continue to inspire just one person to do or try something then it’s a positive, i want to continue to show and share with people my belief that we are all capable of so much more. The last few weeks has also heIped me and allowed my to tap back into me, the real me.
I have had such a wonderful time doing my little bit to support our #nhsheroes and I don’t want it to stop, with your help and raised a staggering £47,000 which is beyond anything I’d imagine we were capable of and I would love to finally see this break the £50,000 mark.
The money raised through this particular even and appeal will go directly to the Swansea Bay Health Charity's Helping Hand Fund. The monies you give will not replace statutory funding - the money raised through this appeal will be used to fund ADDITIONAL items that go over and above what the NHS is providing in particular to provide a safe and friendly space affectionately known as “Wobble Rooms” for front line staff to retreat to when they need sometime to look after their own mento health whilst we combat this terrible virus.
I can’t thank you enough just for reading this, let alone donating, supporting, sharing or messaging your support - thank you, together we’ve done our little bit to make the world just a little bit better 🌈💙
