Story
Hello everyone i have decided to take part in my 2nd Mcmillan Mighty hike on the 10th of June walking round the South downs in Brighton.
Anyone that knows me, will know just how much this means to me, after losing my mum to this horrible disease in 2011, on the 1st of july it will be 12 years since i lost her and taking part in this 26mile walk in Brighton will mean even more, as its a place i love to be and it was my mum home town and also where i scattered her in 2016, so this walk really will feel like my mum is walking right next to me and get me to the finish line.
Last year i raised £1,305, so i would love to go one step further and reach £1,500 and i completed the walk in Suffolk in 7 hours 20mins, so i will be aiming at achieving around the same time, but it will be harder as it is alot of hilly parts.
Anything you can spare i would appreciate it so much.
