During the course of this year, my life changed pretty dramatically after a virus put me in hospital for a week, shut down my pancreas, and gave me type 1 diabetes for the rest of my life. 

So, as I have done for many Christmases (but previously for different charities), myself and my sister-in-law Vix Leyton will be taking part in the annual Porthcawl Christmas Day Swim - for those interested, this year I'll be Ariel from The Little Mermaid (yes, I also often question my own decisions). 

Any donations would be really appreciated, and hopefully help support the improvement of research into diabetes via Diabetes UK, and in turn help support others with diabetes, as well as my self.
