Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So for the last few years it has been hard ! my wife was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which has not only changed her life but the whole family's

It has not just been a physical change but a massive mental change for us all to deal with , having to learn and adapt with her condition .with this We have had great support from our friends and family members.

Then at the beginning of last year we had some more devastating news πŸ’” that a key member of are family that gives us so much help and support was diagnosed with cancer . Which impacted our lives once again.

I turned to exercise for my own mental health.

So I started to try and turn a negative into a positive .

My friend Luke Bolton asked me if I wanted to join him on the starting line at Iron Man 70.3 at  Weymouth -September 2021

I thought it was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and hopefully some money for charity and dedicate a year of my life to this process.

So what does the Iron Man 70.3 contain you may ask, it is a

1.2m swim πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

56m bike 🚲

13.1m run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
