We at Welsh Rarebit Minis are organising our own Club Classic Mini Roadtrip over 4-5 days to the most Northerly Point in the UK in memory of our much missed club member Ruth Warhurst who lost her brave battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma in April 2011.

This will be over 1200+ miles in our Minis. Some bad backs and knees aplenty lol x

Ruth was an amazing person, brave, warm, funny, generous and a wonderful friend, and is sorely missed by all her family and friends and fellow club members. She had been an active club member for years along with her Minis, 'Monty', 'Ethel' & more recently 'Mavis'.

The event will be starting from 22nd July in Conwy, North Wales.

The end of the Roadtrip will be marked by an arranged visit to Goole in Yorkshire to the Eddie Stobart depot to have photos of the Club's Minis, Club Members and Ruth's Family next to Ruth's named truck that she stood next to herself in September 2010.

A big thank you to Eddie Stobart for organising this for us, it means so much.
