Campaign by Level Water (RCN 1151510)
The Swoosh is a world class 6km estuary swim down the River Avon in Devon. Among the things that make it special is the fact the estuary we swim in is both shallow and sandy bottomed so water is clear rather than muddy!

Story

THANK YOU FROM ME to you all of you - We did it and broke the 100% target and have afforded over 250 swimming lessons! yay!

......

It's time for me (and my family!) to do something really hard, several times, to encourage all of you to dig deep and raise lots of money for Level Water, a charity who teaches children with disabilities to swim. We learned first hand, through learning to swim alongside our eldest brother with Cerebral Palsy that swimming is like nothing else - the skills you develop, the confidence you build and the fun you have. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water. I might not love it so much come August, but let's see.....

In mid June we did a 24 hour swim relay in Shepperton lake, in July Kate and I swum 6km down the River Avon to sea (Bantham Swoosh), and in August Scott and did a Swim-Run (17 swims/17runs) along the Swedish archipelago (Gothenburg Otillo) to raise as much money as we can to get kids swimming
