**NOT MUCH TIME LEFT - PLEASE HELP NOW!!**
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running for Action For Blind People. They help blind and visually impared people with practical advice and support, and I hope to get to £1500 by 20th April when I will be running the Virgin London Marathon. Not only is this my first marathon, but my only other event has been a 5km run for Cancer research.
Having said that, I am training hard with help from The Shropshire Shufflers, and should be in great shape by April.
The motivation to run for a charity supporting blind people comes from my mother-in-law Ann Sullivan who lost her sight in 1980 at the age of 35. Seeing how Ann copes with her illness and sight-loss would be an inspiration to anyone, and I have seen first hand how important these charities and organisations are to improving the life of people with sight problems.
