My name is Ruth, age 80. In 2014 my husband Maurice Smale was diagnosed with cancer. Now, on the 15th September 2019, the same day as I plan to abseil down the Women’s Centre of the JR, it will be our 60th wedding anniversary thanks to all at the Churchill Hospital.
