We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit mine and James' JustGiving page.

We are running the Reading Half Marathon in memory of Ruth's Granny who suffered with Alzheimers for several years.  It is also in memory of Ruth's Grandad (Granfer) whose life was never the same after Alzheimers took Granny from him.  He sadly died on 7th December 2010.

Neither of us are runners but we have been training hard during the cold and wet British winter.  It has been a challenge trying to fit training in around the boys, work and playing hockey but we are a fairly determined couple!  We are both aiming to run under 2 hours and would really appreciate your support with whatever amount you feel you can give.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
