Big Seal Swim · 28 February 2019

At the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, part of the SEA LIFE Trust charity, rescued seal pups get the expert care they need to give them the very best chance of being released back to their home in the wild.

Story

I work at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary and every year we rescue, rehabilitate and release seal pups from around the coastline. It costs on average £2000 to rehabilitate a pup and that doesn't include the special cases who need further surgery or medication.

Our team are taking part in a 12-hour swim in order to raise funds for the work which I will be taking part in. Any donations you make will be greatly appreciated. If you are able to Gift Aid, then that will add an extra 25% on your donation - with no extra cost to you!

£10 could buy a bottle for feeding rescued seal pups.

£20 could provide essential vitamins for the seals.

£50 could pay for a full vet visit for rescued seal pups.

£100 could feed the rescued seal pups in the Sanctuary's seal hospital for 5 days.

Thank you so much for your support.
