We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am currently training to complete my third marathon! I’m going international this time and aiming to take on the 26.2 miles in Berlin.

For this marathon, I am fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK and raising money so that they can find better treatments and tests to spot fast-growing cancers early. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK with 1 in 8 men getting the disease. Although it affects all men, Black men are 2-3 times more likely to develop this cancer than other men and my family has been personally affected by this disease. The death rate is twice as high with Black men and they are more likely to develop prostate cancer at a younger age.

Your donation would help this charity to continue to fund research to find out why Black men have an increased chance of prostate cancer as well as continuing to raise awareness of this disease for all men.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and for your donation. It is very much appreciated 🖤

(Please note: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity).
