We support children impacted by cancer to help the families through their journey

Story

As some of you already know, my crazy friends and I completed the mourne wall last year and came up with our next challenge for 2020 - Paddling the length of the river Bann from Gilford to Coleraine (75miles) on a stand up paddle board.

Considering few of us had ever set foot on a paddleboard before last October, we have a long way to go. Iain McCarthy @SUPhubNI has been teaching us the skills and techniques for SUP on the Irish Sea in Bangor and Fergus McGivern @Force7gym in Lisburn has been getting us fit shape to improve our endurance and strength for the challenge.

We are hoping to complete the event in 2 days with  camp overnight at Lough Neagh so feel free to come cheer us on or if you want to join the crew, let me know!

All donations raised are in support of Daisy Lodge in Newcastle and it's amazing work helping kids and their families going through cancer treatment.

On behalf of Adam, Brendan, Damien, Stephen, Campbell, Jon, Ashley and I, thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the cancer fund for children, it's that simple!
