Story

We are walking the Ulster way in memory of our brother John who died suddenly on 13/04/2016 just 4 days after his 16th birthday. John was a fit lively teenager who loved nothing more than spending hours on the trampoline and sheep farming.

To commemorate 5 years of John’s memory we are walking 1000km/625miles around all 6 counties of Northern Ireland known as the Ulster Way. I will be joined by my Fiancé Andrew and my sister Rachel. The Ulster Way passes through some of NI most scenic landmarks including the Giants Causeway and the Sperrin and Mourne mountain ranges, We started our journey in Early August at my home village of Tynan Co Armagh and will be walking approximately 45-50 miles every weekend till Early November.

We are raising money for ‘Cardiac Risk in the Young’ (CRY). A charity that screens young people for heart conditions and supports families who have lost someone to sudden cardiac death.

We would greatly appreciate your support and donations for this very worthy cause.
